Post It Note Art Drawings Perry the Platypus Face

This article is about Perry the Platypus, the agent. Yous may be looking for the song, "Perry the Platypus", the toy, Perry the Inaction Figure, another agent with the same codename, Pinky, the Perry from Tri-Rock Area, his Excaliferb counterpart, his Chinese counterpart, his 1914 analogue, his 1903 counterpart, his monster lookalike, Perry of the second Dimension or his Star Wars counterpart.

"[He is] vehement, cunning, and good with a grappling hook..."
— Heinz Doofenshmirtz, reading Perry'due south menu.[src]

"He is a platypus, they don't practice much."
— Phineas' reply when people ask what Perry can practise.[src]

Perry the Platypus, lawmaking named Agent P, or simply Perry, is Phineas and Ferb'south pet platypus, who, unbeknownst to his owners, lives a double life every bit a surreptitious agent for the O.Westward.C.A. (The Organization Without a Cool Acronym a.k.a. "The Agency"), a hole-and-corner spy system that employs animal spies. In the Bureau, his immediate superior is Major Monogram.

Early on life

Perry 5 years ago.

Perry was adopted 5 years agone by the Flynn-Fletcher family (afterwards Bucky got ill and left) from an beast shelter run by the O.W.C.A. The boys chose him considering of his wall-eyed gaze that made it appear every bit though he was looking at both Phineas and Ferb at the same time. When they adopted the platypus, he was given the proper noun "Bartholomew", merely they renamed him "Perry" as soon as they got dwelling with him (Phineas and Ferb the Film: Across the 2nd Dimension). Co-ordinate to Phineas, he has always enjoyed listening to music ("Oh, At that place You Are, Perry").

Personality

While undercover, Perry can normally exist found with his owners, Phineas and Ferb. As their pet, he lives up to the expectations for a platypus and "doesn't practise much". Even though Candace would describe him every bit only a mindless, smelly animal, Perry even so shows signs of intelligence when he's pretending to exist a normal pet. He is also serious while on duty as an amanuensis, even in front of Major Monogram when he does anything silly or makes fun of something

("Jerk De Soleil", "Beau From 27,000 B.C.", "Traffic Cam Caper", "Skiddley Whiffers"). Because of his serious nature, he rarely shows any happy expressions, such as smiles or laughs, though in some occasions he is shown smiling (e.thousand. "Tip of the Solar day", "Phineas and Ferb Christmas Vacation", "Brain Drain", Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension, "Last Day of Summer").

Perry appears to be selfless and devoid of vanity. In "The All-time Lazy Day E'er", information technology is only after he turns everything else affected by the Ugly-inator dorsum to normal that he reverts himself to his normal land. He deeply cares nearly the Flynn-Fletcher family and is afraid to lose them. He will take immediate activeness whenever they are threatened ("Journeying to the Center of Candace", "Phineas and Ferb Get Disrepair!", "Oh, In that location Yous Are, Perry", "Hibernate and Seek", Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Beyond the 2nd Dimension, "Where's Perry?", "Where's Perry? (Part 2)", "Phineas and Ferb Save Summer"). He is nice to not just his allies but to his nemesis Dr. Doofenshmirtz as well, though merely on some occasions ("Oil on Candace", "Thaddeus and Thor", "Brain Bleed", "Skiddley Whiffers", "When Worlds Collide", "Route to Danville").

Physical Appearance

Perry is a greenish-teal platypus with yellowish tinged tangerine webbing just on his dorsum feet (odd traits that platypuses exterior of Danville don't take). He also has three dark hairs on his head, a low, long salmon-orangish beaver tail, dark brown eyes in an unnatural wall-eyed position, making him expect mindlessly stupid, and a duck bill that matches his webbing color. Nether his fur, he besides has a locket shaped like his webbed feet that shows three pictures of him and his owners, Phineas and Ferb.

When Perry is no longer hugger-mugger, he stands on his hind legs, his front end paws resemble easily, and he wears a brown fedora that the agents habiliment as a "spy uniform".

The O.W.C.A.

Principal article: Organization Without a Cool Acronym

Perry has a lair nether the Flynn-Fletcher'southward business firm that tin can be entered through diverse passages. Entrances include the Chimney-Vator (in which he encounters Santa), one in the side of the tree, another in the side of the house, one in the eye of the backyard, and various others scattered throughout the property and even other parts of the city.

His nemesis is Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz. Perry'southward mission is almost always foiling the doctor'south plans, which he successfully accomplishes almost every fourth dimension even with minimal details almost the plans. Typically, during these missions, his battle with Dr. Doofenshmirtz unintentionally cleans upwards whatever Phineas and Ferb accept been working on that solar day. For i mission (and only one mission) his nemesis was The Regurgitator, who is at present in prison house ("Oh, At that place You lot Are, Perry").

Perry receives wages from the O.West.C.A. for his work. He is seen paying for Doofenshmirtz'south door ("Lights, Candace, Action!") and cans of oil ("Traffic Cam Caper"). Major Monogram has mentioned a huge bonus cheque ("The Lake Nose Monster"). He gives a girl $twenty for her skateboard after Dr. Doofenshmirtz stole a boy'due south wheel ("Exit the Busting to Us!"). He pays 25 cents for an arcade machine ("Ain't No Kiddie Ride") and he also pays to actuate the self-destruct button of one of Doofenshmirtz's schemes in "Functioning Crumb Block".

Abilities and Equipment

See Also: The O.W.C.A.'due south equipment and technology

It is currently unknown how Perry was recruited into the Agency in the get-go identify, nor what kind of grooming Perry has undergone before receiving missions.

For a platypus, Perry has above-average strength, speed, stamina, accuracy, and reflexes, (Co-ordinate to Doofenshmirtz, he can perform "highly improbable judo maneuvers") making him a formidable hand-to-paw combatant. A main of platyjitsu ("Learn to Draw Phineas and Ferb"), Perry tin subdue his nemesis, Dr. Doofenshmirtz, with ease. Perry is quick-thinking and very efficient in his missions, especially when compared to his temporary partner, the British spy Agent Double 0-0. For example, while Double 0-0 is trying to apply his laser-watch to cut through his metallic restraints, Perry simply throws a brick at the remote command, pressing the big push button and freeing them both ("Elementary My Beloved Stacy"). Perry was also able to single-handedly destroy five Norm Bots whereas a group of twelve fellow agents failed to destroy even one despite numerical superiority and an initially successful deadfall (Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension). He has also been shown to answer to and understand not merely English, only French too ("Undercover Carl"), nevertheless at i occasion he needed a dictionary ("I Was a Centre Aged Robot").

Perry is familiar with operating well-nigh kinds of machinery and vehicles, even if they're Doofenshmirtz's (although perchance this is due to the fact that almost of them have an obvious off-switch, plug or self-destruct button) or Phineas and Ferb's inventions ("Film This"). With the assistance of Dr. Doofenshmirtz, he could fix a machine and slightly upgrade it ("Phineas and Ferb Interrupted"). In the live evidence he was able to wield a lightsaber with extreme skill. He could too build large things such as a shelter complete with music and fauna servants ("Phineas and Ferb Hawaiian Vacation") and a spinning windmill sculpture while operating a robot (although it might exist 1 of the robot'due south mechanisms) ("I Was a Middle Aged Robot"). Perry knows math, as he is seen measuring the trap put on by Dr. Doofenshmirtz, as well as making calculations in his head to continue Heinz out of the way while Vanessa and Monty wished to remain unseen ("Sipping with the Enemy"). He is besides smart plenty to be able to read and write ("I Was a Middle Aged Robot", "Moving picture This"). Perry also knows how to drive. Some of the vehicles he drives are a hovercraft car ("Ready for the Bettys", "Traffic Cam Antic", "Ane Good Scare Ought to Practice It!"), a banana truck (with aid of stilts so he can reach the pedals) ("Suddenly Suzy"), and Dr. Doofenshmirtz's truck ("Road Trip"). He tin also pilot a plane ("One Expert Scare Ought to Do It!") and parallel park with farthermost skill ("The Bully Code").

Perry is musically talented every bit he can play the guitar ("The Lizard Whisperer", "Last Day of Summer"), the bass guitar ("Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension", "Skiddley Whiffers"), can DJ ("Brain Bleed"), sing opera ("The Doof Side of the Moon"), and read sheet music ("The Lizard Whisperer").

Perry is able to pull a remarkable number of items out of the air from behind his back. Where exactly they are hidden is not obvious considering Perry typically does not vesture clothes. The virtually frequent gadgets he uses are:

  • Wrist communicator - Perry wears a watch-like communicator on his front left hand, and 1 on his front right mitt, although it could be the same watch. It is ordinarily hidden by his fur. ("Traffic Cam Caper", "Oh, There You Are, Perry", "Swiss Family Phineas", "No More Bunny Business", "Fireside Girl Jamboree", "Candace Disconnected").
  • Video communicator - Amanuensis P uses a PDA-similar, video-chatting device to communicate with his headquarters. Dr. Doofenshmirtz once built a "Monster Truck Locate-inator" that looked the same as Agent P's communicator, just a different colour. ("Information technology'due south a Mud, Mud, Mud, Mud World")
  • Notepad and pencil - Perry uses it to write down notes for his missions, but where he has information technology while not using it is unknown. Perry has also been seen cartoon Major Monogram on the notepad while existence briefed for a mission.
  • Laptop - Agent P has a teal laptop with a yellow footprint on the cover which he uses to tap into and reprogram the GPS system on the Flynn-Fletcher'south rental recreational vehicle ("Road Trip").
  • Fedora - Agent P'due south fedora serves several purposes. Offset of all, the hat identifies him equally a secret agent. It appears to have a hidden bar-code that allows him to admission the figurer ("No More Bunny Business"). There is a leap within the hat that, when pulled, starts a motor which causes the skirt of the hat to spin. The hat can then be used as a circular saw ("Gaming the Arrangement", "Road Trip"). On at least one occasion, Agent P is able to pull an object out of his hat, which he uses to fight Dr. Doofenshmirtz or help himself escape: a tin can of Fancy Cheese Spray ("I, Brobot") or a hot dog ("Backyard Aquarium"). The hat may also be used like a boomerang. Perry uses his hat in this way to knock Dr. Doofenshmirtz'due south controller to the basis, damaging it and setting him free ("Voyage to the Lesser of Buford"). In add-on, it seems to have unnatural abilities to stay attached to its possessor's head; information technology stays put on Amanuensis P'due south head underwater and even in space ("Out to Launch"). He seems very attached to information technology; in circumstances when information technology is in danger of existence blown away, he holds it with i paw to keep information technology in identify, and Agent P was furious when Dennis the rogue agent stole his lid and used it to access the Agency'due south mainframe. Once Dennis is defeated, Agent P snatched his hat back from him indignantly and returned it to its proper place on his own head ("No More Bunny Business"). It also contains an motorcar-browse replication device inside of information technology, that scans data during each mission, which the OWCA has been using to recreate each of Heinz Doofenshmirtz's Inator'south to be studied and see if they have been getting smarter or dumber as the years go by. The chapeau was used as a punching glove ("Wizard of Odd"). Perry also used the auto-scan replication device to scan all of Phineas and Ferb'south big ideas that were stored in his lair'south computer and tin be unlocked by placing his tri-fold locket in a slot on his console like a key (Phineas and Ferb the Film: Beyond the 2nd Dimension). The most important task his fedora has is to hide his identity from Dr. Doofenshmirtz, as without it Heinz cannot recognize him (Phineas and Ferb the Pic: Across the 2nd Dimension).
  • Parachute - Agent P, while many times escaping by jumping off something high like a edifice or a plane, is able to employ a parachute with a moving picture of his face on it, though when he switches bodies with Candace, the image was replaced past a motion picture of Jeremy ("Does This Duckbill Make Me Expect Fat?"). It is unclear where he keeps it.
  • Para-glider - Agent P possesses an orange para-glider with his face on it. He uses information technology to access places as well as to escape from them. Like his parachute, it is still unclear where he keeps it when it's non in use. He as well seems to have excellent skill in controlling it. In Transport-inators of Doooom!, when Agent P is using it, it looks like his tie. When it's not in use it looks like a jetpack.
  • Grappling gun - Agent P uses information technology to climb upward and swing from buildings and climb onto Doofenshmirtz's blimp. ("Tree to Get Ready", "Run Away Runway", "Bowl-R-Ama Drama")
  • Hoverjet - Agent P's hover jet is platypus-shaped, and is hijacked and mistaken by Phineas to exist one of Ferb'south inventions ("Ready for the Bettys"). Doofenshmirtz chases Vanessa in information technology with Perry and Major Monogram. ("Phineas and Ferb: Summertime Belongs to You lot!")
  • Scooter - Agent P has a white scooter with a green stripe down the centre. ("Bomb Starz", "Does This Duckbill Brand Me Look Fat?" ).
  • Magnifying Contact Lens - Agent P removes his contact lenses to burn through his trap. ("Monster from the Id")
  • Jetpack - Perry usually uses it to become around, ordinarily to or from Doofenshmirtz Evil Incorporated. The jetpack has the ability to smash through glass traps. ("Bullseye!") Information technology also has a turbo mode, which tin interruption a building'south roof. ("Road to Danville")
  • Makeshift Central - Perry tin control the three dark hairs on his head to harden into a key, which he used to escape one of Doofenshmirtz'southward traps.

Disguises

Heinz wants to check his cargo.jpg

Now, merely to make certain I didn't forget annihilation in my haste.

Parts of this page have been identified as no longer being upwardly to date with recently released material. Make sure to include information on newer disguises and Dennis the Rabbit in this page. (03:50, September 3, 2014 (UTC))

When non inside his persona of espionage, Perry takes on the appearance of a "mindless domestic pet".

Perry is the Flynn-Fletcher family's only pet that has been mentioned in more than one episode, or rather, every one (others in simply a single episode include the deceased Bucky, the freed Goldie, the captured Mr. Cutie Patootie, or Steve who blends into the environment). In social club to prevent his family and other people from learning his identity, Perry pretends that he is "just a mindless animal that doesn't exercise much". His primary method to achieve this condition is to directly each of his eyes outwards in opposite directions, creating the "dumb" look. Nevertheless he sometimes clearly expresses emotion in this form ("No More Bunny Business", Phineas and Ferb the Moving picture: Across the 2nd Dimension, "Phineas and Ferb Get Busted!"). Once he is certain that he is no longer being watched, Perry drops the act and retrieves his secret agent chapeau, a fedora. During his mission as "Perry the Teenage Girl", Perry continued to apply this method to mask his true intelligence.

Perry has become adept in switching betwixt his two disguises and can perform the switch in rapid succession ("Traffic Cam Caper", "The Chronicles of Meap", "No More than Bunny Business", "Picture show This", "Swiss Family Phineas").

Despite frequent contact with Perry, Dr. Doofenshmirtz does not recognize his enemy unless Perry is wearing his hat. If Perry enters Doofenshmirtz's building without wearing the hat, the medico will human activity surprised and exclaim "A platypus?". However, in one case Doofenshmirtz has seen Agent P wearing the fedora, if information technology is removed, Doofenshmirtz is still able to recognize him, although sometimes he can still go confused ("Become That Bigfoot Outa My Face!", "Oil on Candace", "I Scream, You Scream", "It's About Time!", "Attack of the 50 Human foot Sis", Phineas and Ferb the Pic: Across the 2nd Dimension, "The Remains of the Platypus", "Cardinal Perry"). Doofenshmirtz has also built an inator that can't identify him without his hat on ("Ladies and Gentlemen, Meet Max Modem!").

Perry's most successful disguise might be that of when he and Candace accidentally switch bodies. ("Does This Duckbill Make Me Look Fatty?") When Perry (in Candace'due south body) commencement enters his lair to receive his mission conference, Major Monogram thinks that there has been a breach of security. Once the hat falls on Perry's head, Major Monogram identifies him as "Agent P" and praises Perry for the "brilliant disguise", while Carl is disappointed to acquire that information technology is not a real girl. Likewise, when Perry breaks in to Doofenshmirtz'south building, the doctor exclaims "A teenage daughter?". Afterward Perry puts on the fedora, Dr. Doofenshmirtz shrieks, "Perry the Teenage Girl?". While all the Agents wear similar hats, it is this particular lid that allows people to identify Perry as Agent P, as shown when Dennis wears Perry's chapeau and a scanner is shown, scanning an apparent bar-code like construction to hack into the O.W.C.A. as Perry ("No More Bunny Business").

Amanuensis P has used the "Groucho glasses" to narrowly avoid beingness recognized by Linda in the street ("Flop Starz"), disguised himself as Dr. Lloyd Wexler ("A Hard Day's Knight"), and disguised himself as Ferb and Norm ("Traffic Cam Caper"). Inside the Superduper Mega Superstore, when Perry wears a Hawaiian shirt, sunglasses and a bowler hat, none of his acquaintances at the mall are able to recognize him ("Vanessassary Roughness").

Major Monogram makes him come into his lair as a magpie for a joke. Carl and Major Monogram express mirth and and so inquire him to practise information technology equally a bunny rabbit but Perry seems very annoyed ("Boyfriend From 27,000 B.C.").

Once, when a rogue agent named Dennis tried to hack the O.W.C.A., Perry had to end him and avoid his embrace being blown. This shows that he is very quick with disguises, specially his pet mode. ("No More than Bunny Business")

Failures

Though Perry usually succeeds on almost all of his battles confronting Doofenshmirtz, there were a few times when he actually failed to end Doofenshmirtz in his schemes.

  • He tried to stop Doofenshmirtz from freezing the tri-land area, but he says that Peter is his nemesis as well and that he notwithstanding hates Perry, and wants to take a break. Peter gets water as Perry doesn't get any. He sees the freeze-inator, merely Heinz shoves him out. He curses Peter the Panda, as Perry walks out the door, sobbing when he reaches the bottom in defeat. ("It's About Time!")
  • He attempted to end Doofenshmirtz from blowing his old mentor's hideout with his Disinitivaporator (though it is unclear why he wanted to stop him). Though Perry manages to foil this by bringing in the ticking Disinitivaporator onto Doofenshmirtz's ship, Heinz manages to throw both Perry and the Disinitivaporator off the airplane before making a clean escape, and Perry is forced to let him go as a result while the Disinitivaporator destroys Phineas'south haunted house. ("One Good Scare Ought to Practise Information technology!")
  • In a flashback, Perry once attempted to engage into a fight with Doofenshmirtz on a rooftop, but Doofenshmirtz manages to utilise an umbrella to make Perry lose his basis, causing him to fall into a sandpaper factory and allowing Doofenshmirtz to escape victoriously. This also forces Perry to wear a pet cone, which prevented him to get on his next mission, leaving him very upset. ("Hail Doofania!")
  • During 1 afternoon, Perry learns of Doofenshmirtz's latest scheme to move the local lighthouse away to the other side of town so that Doofenshmirtz can get some good night'southward sleep. Though Doofenshmirtz manages to activate the rockets fastened to the bottom of the lighthouse to move it, he realized that he had forgotten to put some steering mechanism into it, which would event in the lighthouse crashing into his building in the cease. Deciding that fighting against Perry isn't worth it, Doofenshmirtz angrily tells Perry to go domicile, saying that the lighthouse is gone and that in that location's nothing that Perry can do about it but to tell Major Monogram that he lost this i. Surprised to come across that his nemesis really makes a skillful bespeak, Perry walks away in defeat. ("That Sinking Feeling")
  • Upon hearing that Doofenshmirtz is roaming around looking for an on-and-off switch, Perry barges into his lair, simply to be trapped in a lobster muzzle. After finding the right switch, Doofenshmirtz didn't realize that the switch only opens and closes the muzzle until too belatedly when he sees that Perry has escaped from it after it opened. At start, Perry engages into a fight, but Doofenshmirtz points out that activating a lobster cage is not considered evil and taunts Perry for fighting him over such a silly event. Seeing that Doofenshmirtz is correct, an unhappy Perry concedes defeat again by giving a thumbs up and leaving. ("Finding Mary McGuffin")
  • Upon learning of Doofenshmirtz's endeavour to ruin Roger'due south art veiling (considering of a backstory of Roger accidentally ruining Doofenshmirtz'southward greatest masterpiece during college), Perry attempts to stop Doofenshmirtz, but fails as Doofenshmirtz sets his -inator to autofire. However, Doofenshmirtz before long realizes that Roger had spent 20 years restoring his masterpiece and intends to present it out to make amends, but is too belatedly to end the inator from ruining the painting, much to both Doofenshmirtz and Roger'south dismay. Taking no regard in this, Perry sabotages Doof'due south hovercraft and flies off. ("Magic Carpet Ride")
  • Upon learning of Doofenshmirtz'southward attempt to build an -inator that involves traveling to alternate dimensions, Perry attempts to finish him, only to find out in horror that Phineas and Ferb have arrived in Heinz'due south lair (thanks to Perry'south hovercraft colliding with their giant shuttlecock that caused them to fly there in the showtime place) and are now helping him past making several modifications to the machine. Every bit such, a nervous Perry is at present forced to picket in pet mode as Doofenshmirtz finally activates his machine, and information technology successfully opens a portal to the 2nd Dimension, much to Perry's dismay. (Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Beyond the 2d Dimension)
  • Doofenshmirtz has invented an -inator that steals all of the keys of Danville until he gets the Key to the City. Though Perry manages to return all keys back to their owners, he failed to stop Doofenshmirtz from getting the Key to the Metropolis. ("Cranius Maximus")
  • Doofenshmirtz has invented the Der Kinderlumper-inator, which volition turn him into a fauna called Der Kinderlumper (which is considered a ghoulish creature according to Drusselsteinian folktale), and then that he can scare Roger and take over the Tri-Land Surface area. Doofenshmirtz manages to fire it up, turning himself and Perry into Kinderlumpers before trapping the latter in a muzzle. Though Perry failed to stop Doofenshmirtz from appearing to Roger equally he was unable to escape from the muzzle, it turns out that Roger isn't afraid of Der Kinderlumper (as he was told by his mother that it was a gift-loving creature), much to Heinz's dismay. ("Der Kinderlumper")
  • Doofenshmirtz has created a 90-Degree-Turn-Inator in order to humiliate Roger in forepart of the visiting Mayor of Stumblegimp, so that Roger will exist forced to perform the Humiliating Trip the light fantastic of Contrition to brand amends. Though Perry failed to finish Doofenshmirtz from hit Roger with the -inator, Roger manages to make amends past performing a mod version of the Humiliating Dance of Contrition (which turns out non to be humiliating at all), something which Doofenshmirtz didn't expect. ("I Good Plow")
  • Upon learning about Doofenshmirtz'south latest scheme to motion the Earth away from the Sun to an early autumn, Perry engages into a fight with him, but accidentally fires up the -inator after being shoved by Doofenshmirtz, causing the Earth to move abroad every bit planned. Despite chirapsia upwards Heinz with a mop, Perry was too late to foil his scheme and goes back to O.West.C.A. HQ in shame, beingness very unhappy that he miserably failed to stop his nemesis from succeeding in a thousand evil scheme. This was also the beginning time Perry failed to stop Doofenshmirtz from taking over the Tri-State Area, as the change in the weather caused ceremonious unrest in Urban center Hall, which forced a nervous Roger to evade from the angry citizens and immune Doofenshmirtz and his fellow members of Fifty.O.V.Due east.M.U.F.F.I.Due north. to take over Metropolis Hall by forcefulness, much to Perry's dismay. Nevertheless, both Heinz and Perry are horrified to learn that Rodney is planning to exploit the situation by taking control of L.O.Five.E.G.U.F.F.I.Northward. and creating an -inizor (x times the size and strength of the -inator) to move the Earth into a new Ice Historic period. Unwilling to let this happen, both Doofenshmirtz and Perry manage to stop Rodney from sending the Earth into a new Water ice Age. ("Phineas and Ferb Salve Summer")
  • During the Tristies Awards Prove, Perry learns of Doofenshmirtz's endeavor to plough Roger into a warthog with an elixir so that he can be removed from ability. He attempted to stop Heinz from spraying the elixir, simply ends upwards taking the shot, condign a warthog. The musical band Swine Flute spotted a tambourine on his tail and forced him to perform with them, much to Perry'south dismay. This allowed Doofenshmirtz to ready his elixir to prepare off on Roger'south podium during the ending of the show, though this was foiled when Mittington Random ends upwards taking the shot. Doofenshmirtz and so attempts to curse Perry once more for his failure, but decides to forget well-nigh it since Perry was likewise busy helping out with Swine Flute. ("The Klimpaloon Ultimatum")
  • During the unveiling of Danville's first h2o tower, Perry learns that Doofenshmirtz is planning to turn Roger into a repulsive being with his Repulse-inator. Though Perry bests him out on a pillow fight, Doofenshmirtz manages to burn down upwards his -inator, which successfully strikes Roger, who then turns into a zombie version of Doofenshmirtz. This causes an unwanted epidemic in which anyone who gets touched by a Doof zombie becomes ane, something which both Doofenshmirtz and Perry didn't await. ("Dark of the Living Pharmacists")
  • Upon hearing that Doofenshmirtz is building a Tri-Governor'southward Mansion on height of City Hall with his Tri-Governor-inator so that he tin can run for Tri-Governor, Perry heads off to stop him. Nevertheless, a series of time loops (caused past Doofenshmirtz's Do-Over-Inator afterwards it was activated by a visiting Candace) immune Doofenshmirtz to anticipate Perry's moves and defeat him in a series of traps. Heinz then gain with his scheme, which finally became a success, making it the second time that Perry failed to cease Doofenshmirtz from taking over the Tri-State Area. As the new Tri-Governor, Doofenshmirtz puts up a legislation against the O.W.C.A. to prevent them from foiling any more than of his schemes until the end of his term. Realizing that he can no longer thwart his nemesis anymore, Perry concedes defeat and becomes very depressed over his failure. However, Doofenshmirtz soon learns that the time loops are causing rifts which may threaten the time-space continuum, so he decides to carelessness his evil ways and Perry helps him out in creating another -inator to fix the time menstruum. ("Concluding Mean solar day of Summertime")

Relationships

The Flynn-Fletcher family

Perry's affection for his family is most obvious and very indicative when he had a nightmare that his 'beast side' cover was blown and he is forced to lose the Flynn-Fletcher family and get a replacement. When Perry wakes up from the nightmare, Phineas reassures him that it was just "a bad dream", causing Perry to smile and go back to sleep ("Phineas and Ferb Get Busted!"). Perry's feelings for his owners are further showcased when he is faced with the prospects of moving to a new family in society to combat some other evil scientist: he appears visibly shaken and lamentable. In the song "Come Home Perry", Phineas mentions that Perry is the color of a blueberry and is "kinda short and hairy". It is shown that Perry spends function of the dark sleeping in Phineas's bed and at some signal switches over to Ferb's so as to not evidence preference or play favorites with whatsoever one of them ("Oh, There You Are, Perry"). As well, he sometimes appears in the mornings on Candace's bed, even though it annoys her to no stop. This may be because he'south trying to give Candace a turn likewise.

Phineas Flynn and Ferb Fletcher

Phineas sleeping with Perry.

To maintain his comprehend, Perry adopts the disguise of a "mindless animal" effectually people. During ane of his missions ("Journey to the Center of Candace"), when Perry realizes Doofenshmirtz's plans volition straight affect Phineas and Ferb, Perry takes decisive action to stop him immediately instead of following the spy routine (being trapped and so escaping) as usual. Perry'southward reaction indicates that he cares for the well-existence and safety of the boys. The reason for this action may be that the boys provide Perry with more than than simply a cover, but as well with affection. On another occasion ("Ready for the Bettys"), he follows the boys to guard them when they go on their ain "mission" (however, he may have done then strictly on Major Monogram's orders). Perry has even allowed Phineas and Ferb to dress him in an extremely humiliating costume for their circus testify and averts his mission temporarily to appear in his act ("Jerk De Soleil").

Ferb sleeping with Perry.

The only noticeable occasion where Perry has expressed anything less than affection for Phineas and Ferb was when they came back from their "mission" in his hovercraft. He caught the hovercraft in a tractor axle and turned information technology upside downwards, dumping the boys into Isabella's pool ("Ready for the Bettys").

1 of Perry'southward biggest instants of showing affection towards Phineas and Ferb was when they were pulled into another dimension with Doofenshmirtz. Perry exposes his true identity to the boys when the alternate Doofenshmirtz orders Perry the Platyborg to attack the boys, indicating that Perry is beloved family unit pet outset, and hole-and-corner agent 2d. Despite his cover existence exposed and a ane-sided argument with Phineas, he allows Phineas and Ferb to fight by his side when they are attacked by the other dimension Doofenshmirtz and trusts Phineas plenty to be able to willingly plunge themselves to doom so Phineas could open another portal to some other dimension. Towards the stop, afterwards the boxing ends and everyone's memories are wiped, Perry uploads pictures he took of him and his owners and saves them to his lair computer with an emotional grinning, glad to have shared such an take chances with them (Phineas and Ferb the Pic: Beyond the 2nd Dimension).

Perry is well enlightened of Phineas and Ferb's Large Ideas, and has suspected that they may one day be useful if there is ever a danger to the Tri-State Area that even he or the O.West.C.A. could not handle. Perry used the same technology used to replicate Doofenshmirtz's Inator on hand to recreate the Large Ideas if Phineas and Ferb enter his lair and insert a central given to them by him. This indicates that Perry ever trusts Phineas and Ferb to help him if he needs information technology (Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension).

Phineas and Ferb have several projects featuring their pet platypus: an inaction effigy, a restaurant, a circus show, an animal language translator, a machine to nurture what is thought to be Perry'southward egg, the Platypult, and the Perrytronic 3000.

Candace Flynn

While Perry does not exhibit any different beliefs around Candace than he does effectually other people, he does tend to evidence up beside her in unexpected and sometimes unwanted places. ("Day of the Living Gelatin") He seems to especially like her bed. Candace is easily annoyed by Perry's odor, or perhaps his sheer presence, as she repeatedly berates her brothers for letting Perry wander into her room (and after switched brains with her, thanks to Phineas and Ferb's invention) ("Does This Duckbill Brand Me Look Fatty?"). Perry has interrupted Candace's dream at least in one case past making his characteristic chirping noise on her bed ("Candace Loses Her Head").

Yet, at that place are instances when Candace appears to be more than friendly to Perry ("Traffic Cam Caper", "Mom'southward Altogether"). Candace was once overwhelmed by feelings of guilt when Perry went missing, every bit she had angrily put Perry outside the house after tripping on him the dark before, meaning that she truly cares about him. He and so started moving his hand mockingly copying what Candace had said, in a rare example of Perry'south reaction towards Candace ("Oh, In that location Yous Are, Perry").

Nevertheless, Perry saves a hallucinating Candace from being diddled up in Doofenshmirtz's new secret base ("The Ballad of Badbeard") and brings her back to Danville when she is stranded in Easter Island ("Candace Disconnected"). Perry too saves Candace from Doofenshmirtz's Evil Witch Castle in her dream ("Wizard of Odd").

On some occasions Candace sees Perry as Agent P, but later thinks that she is just seeing things and ignores it ("The Ballad of Badbeard", "Wizard of Odd"), with the obvious exception of her trip to the 2nd Dimension (Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension). Candace has also seen him equally a surreptitious agent for a few seconds in "Leave the Busting to U.s.a.!", "Bowl-R-Ama Drama", and "The Remains of the Platypus" without having her memory erased afterwards or being under furnishings of moss.

Dr. Doofenshmirtz

Main article: Doofenshmirtz and Perry'southward relationship

Perry and Doofenshmirtz's starting time encounter.

The Drusselsteinian mad scientist Heinz Doofenshmirtz start met his nemesis, Perry, on the solar day he had his portrait taken. Perry had been spying on the evil scientist from across the street ("Information technology's Well-nigh Time!").

The Star Wars sausage (lightsaber) duel.

Agent P's job is to terminate whatever evil scheme of Dr. Doofenshmirtz. Amanuensis P always finishes his job nicely, leaving the doctor screaming "Curse you, Perry the Platypus!". Information technology is unclear how Dr. Doofenshmirtz knows his nemesis's pet name, "Perry". The doctor usually calls Perry "Perry the Platypus", rarely "Perry", and never "Agent P". The but times he has called Agent P "Perry" is when Doofenshmirtz tried to make a mountain out of a mole loma ("At the Automobile Launder") ("Oh, sorry, Perry, I didn't mean to get all street there!"), when he tried to discover Perry's address ("Hide and Seek") ("Oh, it will be and then delicious to know where Perry lives!", "Adept, we're back on the Perry Show".), and when he tried to shoot an ice cream van with his Re-tire-inator ("The Great Code") ("Oh, Perry the Platypus, have you come to sign my cast? Expect, I saved you a spot correct there, it says "Save for Perry").

Over time, they take become each other's frenemy. In some cases, later on confronting Dr. Doofenshmirtz and evaluating the situation, Perry decides to help Dr. Doofenshmirtz with his not-so-evil plans. Notable examples include setting up a birthday party for the doctor's daughter ("Dude, We're Getting the Band Back Together") and pretending to be the doctor's pet ("Get That Bigfoot Outa My Face!"). Perry has agreed to assist Doofenshmirtz get shopping ("Unfair Science Fair Redux (Some other Story)"), wait patiently until the medico finishes his creation ("I Scream, Y'all Scream") and let the doctor control the giant dragon robot while Perry himself controls the Queen Elizabeth robot which the medico deems not evil enough for him ("A Hard Day's Knight"). At one point, the md gave Perry a cardinal to his apartment because he felt it was "more civilized than crashing through his ceiling" ("I, Brobot"). Dr. Doofenshmirtz even shared some of his chicken wings with Perry ("The Lake Olfactory organ Monster"). Likewise, Perry seemed to feel guilty and paid for a door he broke while busting in to Doofenshmirtz's lair ("Lights, Candace, Activity!"). Perry as well in one case joined Doofenshmirtz in his "evil" exercise show and even enjoyed it ("Candace Disconnected").

When Dr. Doofenshmirtz fails to print his former Evil 101 teacher, Dr. Gevaarlijk, Perry offers him a smile of encouragement when the doctor asks if Perry thinks he is evil ("Oil on Candace"). All the same, when Doofenshmirtz's scheme isn't evil enough he asks Perry to "thwart his plan". Perry plays along after Doofenshmirtz starts becoming abrasive. ("Perry Lays an Egg").

When it appears that Dr. Doofenshmirtz has turned adept (he saves a cat), Agent P brings him the Standard Welcome Package ("Voyage to the Bottom of Buford").

The relationship has evolved to the point that when Dr. Doofenshmirtz replaces Perry with Peter the Panda equally his nemesis, Perry is heartbroken and intends to quit his job at the Agency. Eventually Doofenshmirtz starts to miss Perry as Peter is disassembling his freezanator ray while he's singing about his feelings ("It's About Fourth dimension!"). Similarly, Doofenshmirtz reacts negatively when Perry is assigned to fight some other mad scientist, The Regurgitator. Doofenshmirtz has gone as far every bit saving Perry from existence destroyed by the Regurgitator, stating that Perry can exist only his nemesis ("Oh, There You Are, Perry").

Perry ever saves Doofenshmirtz from death, one example is when Doofenshmirtz fabricated the Termite-Controlling Helmet. Subsequently when Doofenshmirtz's fortress was going to explode, Perry dived in and saved him ("The Magnificent Few"). Doofenshmirtz doesn't ordinarily return the favor, as Perry is never near death. Another case of this was when Doofenshmirtz tries to save Mr. Fluffypants and falls off the building, causing Perry to dive after him, stopping him and Mr. Fluffypants earlier they reach the ground ("Spa Day").

At one point, Doofenshmirtz referred to Perry as a good listener and his best friend ("The Chronicles of Meap"). Perry has also helped Doofenshmirtz practice kickball and comforted him when he failed ("Thaddeus and Thor"). Doofenshmirtz had in one case held Perry and TV producer Jeff McGarland earnest and pitched them the idea of a serial called Doof 'N' Puss, starring himself and Perry with hopes that he would become then famous that his fans would want to do his bidding. McGarland rejects the idea, and then eventually changes his mind, but suggests that the platypus needs to take a girlfriend. Perry smirks when Doofenshmirtz is offended by the suggestion, and Heinz refuses to bear on with the deal. Later on, he watches a TV series produced by McGarland using his idea, but called The Platypus and His Girlfriend starring a fake Perry and a adult female, and was receiving terrific ratings ("Nerds of a Feather").

Major Monogram

Perry'south cartoon of Major Monogram.

Perry's superior is the leader of his sectionalization of the O.Westward.C.A., Major Monogram. Monogram himself gives a mission briefing most every episode to Agent P. When Perry is receiving his mission in his lair, he writes down notes, causeless every bit something which would help him during his mission. All the same, sometimes, he just draws his boss ("S'Winter"). Perry always does as he says, never failing battling Doofenshmirtz or failing in general (though there are a few exceptions, such as "Phineas and Ferb'south Quantum Boogaloo", which takes place in an alternate timeline; "That Sinking Feeling", where Perry loses but Doofenshmirtz'due south programme fails anyway; and in Phineas and Ferb the Picture show: Across the 2nd Dimension, "Phineas and Ferb Save Summer", and "Terminal Day of Summer", where Doofenshmirtz actually wins, but later regrets).

Pinky the Chihuahua

Pinky the Chihuahua and Perry the Platypus are allies, every bit they are in the same agency, though in unlike divisions. In one case, Perry went to Pinky'south lair by error since he entered past going within 1 of Isabella's plants ("Day of the Living Gelatin"). They encountered each other when using the same elevator and they both tilted their hats to bear witness respect to one some other ("Bubble Boys," "Isabella and the Temple of Sap"). Pinky laughs at Perry when Perry is wearing a Bee Costume. ("Bee Story") They have likewise fought alongside eachother on occasions. (Phineas and Ferb the Motion-picture show: Across the 2d Dimension, "Where'south Pinky?").

Vanessa Doofenshmirtz

Master article: Perry and Vanessa's relationship

Perry the Platypus has encountered Dr. Doofenshmirtz's daughter several times due to his daily battles with her father. Despite her being the daughter of his nemesis, and her having helped out with her male parent's traps and schemes on occasion ("The Magnificent Few", "Tree to Become Fix"), the 2 go along very well. Vanessa is aware of Perry'due south constant attempts to foil Doofenshmirtz's plans and knows that her father'due south schemes might exist dangerous for himself, so she does not care too much about Perry stopping Doofenshmirtz'southward schemes.

Stacy Hirano

Stacy and Perry.

In "Happy Altogether, Isabella", Stacy witnesses Perry and Doofenshmirtz in battle and learns that Perry is a clandestine agent. Perry shows her the O.W.C.A. pamphlet which informs her that if an agent's host family learns of their pet's dual identity, they must accept their memory erased, or else the pet has to be relocated to a new host family. Notwithstanding, Stacy convinces Perry to allow her keep her memory on the technicality that she is not a member of the Flynn-Fletcher family. They agree to keep her knowledge of him as an agent hole-and-corner from the O.W.C.A. and the Flynn-Fletchers.

Jeremy Johnson

Perry doesn't interact with Jeremy that much, but he seems to know him well; on the occasions that Jeremy visits The Flynn-Fletcher household (or whenever he sees Perry), he is ever very friendly towards Perry ("Does This Duckbill Make Me Look Fat?", 'Misperceived Monotreme").

When Jeremy gave Doofenshmirtz a guitar lesson, Perry was forced to hide until Jeremy left so his cover wouldn't exist blown ("The Lizard Whisperer").

Aloyse von Roddenstein

Perry foiling Rodney's plan to bring in a new Ice Historic period

Perry is shown to be enemies with Doofenshmirtz'due south rival Aloyse von Roddenstein (or Rodney for brusk), due to Perry'southward reputation of being a well-known agent of the O.West.C.A. and Rodney'south reputation of being a far eviler scientist than Doofenshmirtz. Unlike Doofenshmirtz, who seems to hold a complicated relationship with Perry, Rodney's conflict towards Perry is that of pure emnity. At 1 time, Perry defeats Rodney by sending a giant disco brawl to fall on him and Doofenshmirtz, sending them (and the other villains) to the infirmary. ("Nerdy Dancin'") Perry fifty-fifty helped Doofenshmirtz to get into the L.O.V.E.M.U.F.F.I.N. Summer Stock Festival Play past having themselves storm into the stage, knocking Rodney off of it since he was trying to steal Doofenshmirtz's role in the play. ("Road to Danville")

Perry also shares Doofenshmirtz's complete disgust over Rodney's plot to send the unabridged Earth into a new Water ice Age with his new -inizor that will threaten billions of lives, deeming Rodney as a far more than unsafe threat than Doofenshmirtz would've ever been. Knowing that the imminent cataclysm would endanger his host family besides, Perry personally helped Doofenshmirtz, Major Monogram, Carl, and Monty in destroying the -inizor to save the Earth and put Rodney into custody for his crimes. ("Phineas and Ferb Relieve Summer")
